If you enjoy good food and entertainment, you will not be disappointed. While visiting New Orleans for Mardi Gras, we spent quite a bit of time walking around the French Quarter. So much beautiful architecture! I could walk the streets for days just looking at all the buildings! Be sure to keep in mind that streets like Bourbon Street and Decatur are just the beginning as there are a lot of side streets to explore! A lot of fun shops, restaurants, and live music bars.
